Uncle Andy, Jen, her daughters and husband drove to Cleveland for the day. (Leen was very happy to see Jen!)
No real changes from the medical world:

• MRI results are “good” – meaning no change from the last one.
• They had tried to take her off the propafol, but put her back on after a few hours.
• They are still discussing the fistula situation – she does require surgery to repair them and a colostomy, but is not stable enough at the moment. they will decide in a week.

My new grandson has arrived!

7.5 pounds – 20 3/4 inches long.

4:30 p.m.

10:30 a.m. Andy and Andy enroute to Cleveland. He said Eileen was scheduled for a sigmoidoscopy this morning to check for fluid buildup in her abdomen. Test results will take two days.

10:30 p.m. Andy is back home in his hot tub with Dave and trying to relax. He said Eileen is status quo and having still more tests. Another MRI tonight. The doctors are asking lots and lots of questions trying to understand all that is going on within her. Andy is going to call her prior doctors to get her medical records back to 2006. He is also going to buy a tape recorder so he can remember everything the doctors are telling him. It is all so complicated. He plans to return to Cleveland in the morning.

12:00 pm: Just spoke to Wendy.

Leen was awake this morning and shaking her head yes/no to answer questions. Shook her head “yes” to the comment “you’re going to get better.”

Eileen is in the G Wing Room 6217.

Uncle Andy & Dave are at Cleveland Clinic with Aunt Eileen. Uncle Andy’s last text message just said that there has been no change, and that he thinks the trip has her tired. They are going to do a cat scan of the abdomen soon.

Leen finally left Passavant this morning around 1am, and was finally settled in Cleveland around 4. There was initially some confusion as to whether she was going by ambulance, but she did go by helicopter.

Uncle Andy is trying to gather all her records before he heads up there today. (Unfortunately, it appears that Passavant did not have any of her records ready for the paramedic team when they arrived to transport Aunt Eileen.)

Will update with more info as I get it…

PS – I cant wait to show Leen all the comments & emails sent for her – I know she will love to read them all!

Just got THE phone call: Eileen is on her way to Cleveland Clinic! Shell be leaving in 30-60 min! (Going by ambulance lifeflight)
