Leenie is now in heaven.

They will be “starting” hospice.
Uncle Andy & Andy Jr are staying the night in her room.

She is sedated. The ventilator is on the highest level to support her breathing. She seems flushed but her temperature is only 99. Her pulse is good. Her oxygen level is 94. They are trying a new antibiotic on the pneumonia. They are concerned about another cardiac arrest. I am staying here while Andy and Andy Jr. went home to shower. They are coming back to spend the night.

We need all the prayers we can get right now.

6:30 a.m.  You know that is not good. Eileen had a bad night with her breathing. Andy, Andy Jr. and Mom have all gone to the hospital. Andy said she her oxygen level is at 88.

Mid morning:  Ed Mary Ellen, Ray and Renee and Donna, Shanna, Kelsey arrived.  Eileen is sedated to keep her relaxed so she does not fight the tubes.  She is totally on the respirator.  Her oxygen level has come up to 94.

This afternoon they are planning to put a scope down her throat to see if they can identify the infection. Perhaps try a different antibiotic. They don’t want her to talk. It is too stressful on her lungs and heart.   Today’s nurse is very strict about visiting even for Andy.  She said no visitors.
